For more than three decades, Rupp's Downtown has remained a Downtown Sheboygan staple. Owners Richards and Sandy Rupp opened their restaurant in 1979 and expanded shortly thereafter when the adjacent floral shop closed its doors. Renowned for its fresh and very generous salad buffet, every person at your table will find something to love at Rupp's Downtown.
Kick off your meal with a tempting appetizer. Some selections include sauteed mushrooms, escargot, shrimp cocktail, jalapeno poppers and baked French onion soup. Entrees range from pan-fried walleye, orange brandy chicken and barbequed ribs to roasted duck, prime rib and a variety of hand-trimmed steaks. If you're not quite in the mood for a dinner entree, try one of their sandwiches, like the Swiss mushroom burger, baby clubhouse, grilled ham, the Reuben, or a double bratwurst. If you can possibly save room, don't miss dessert!
Part of the excitement of dining at Rupp's Downtown is taking in the atmosphere. You will also get the satisfaction of seeing this family owned business alive and well after so many years!
Rupp's Downtown is located at 925 N. 8th St, Sheboygan. Call (920) 459-8155 for additional information.
